Customization guide
1 MEASURING
Every strap has it’s own unique length. Please provide the length you need from headstock to the end pin (shown in the pictures above.)
And don’t worry: The length is adjustable.
2 BASIC OR CUSTOM
The basic and the custom options both come with the same design features:
- Made from high-quality leather
- Adjustable length
- Clip system with 2 clips for 2 intruments
- Leather-covered metal buckle for instrument protection
- Velours lining on the back
The custom option lets you choose more styles while the basic option comes in three beautiful colors. Check out the “OPTIONS” below to learn more.
(If basic) OPTIONS
Choose from 3 different leather colors
- Light brown
- Dark brown
- Black
Included features
- Non-slip velours lining on the back
- A cutaway section near the end pin of the guitar for more freedom of movement
- Three pin holes for easy adjustability
(If custom) OPTIONS
The custom option gives you control over how the strap feels, behaves, and looks. If you take proper care of it, the strap will last a lifetime. Make it your own.
Full-leather or leather/fabric strap
Accents can be added with fabric strips running down the length of the strap. Full-leather straps can be embossed or hand-tooled. After you submit a request for a custom strap, I will get in touch with you so we can dial in the final design.
Cutaway
The cutaway is a narrow section near the end pin of the guitar. It allows for greater freedom of movement while playing. Choose according to your instrument and playing style.
Velour lining
The back of the strap is lined with velour. It has two sides: one side is non-slip, helping the instrument stay in place. The other side is smoother, allowing the instrument to move more freely while playing. You choose!
Headstock type
Choose whether you have a slotted headstock or a solid headstock.
Measuring
Please measure the following section on your resonator guitar:
- String height at the 2nd and 9th frets
- Neck width on the 2nd and 9th frets
Engraving
The Martin G logo is laser-engraved on every capo.
You can also enter a custom text in the form below (your name, your band name, or anything else you like) and I will laser-engrave it on the side of the capo.
